"It Is Now Post Time."
We're Off. Road runnin today, can't begin to think how many times I will be lost today, but then when I think about it, I am lost everyday.. Had a lot of visitors at the Ville yesterday, did a little real Burgerville reminiscing, but the citizens didn't wanna play, they must be gettin old. Trip to the Yunk today, got a lot of people to see. How about that NBA, am I nuts, or is it one of the most ridiculous things you could possibly hear. Labor negotiations broke down..I wonder what the teamsters think of that. Labor negotiations, YOU PLAY FUCKING BASKETBALL FOR A LIVING, YOU DON'T FUCKIN LABOR..YOU FUCKING MORONS. The people I know and have spent my life with are all into sports, and sports of all different ilk and ire, but not too many like or watch the NBA. I must admit I do like it, but this is incredible. I don't give a shit if they ever play again, and as I said I like it.. Most people probably don't even know they aren't playing. I hope they start playing with young players and players from Europe and South America and ban every fucking one of them from ever playing professional basketball in the so called NBA.. Anyway on to the important matters, bad job everybody on the cars at the Ville, talked to Dave on the phone and he did a better job on the phone than you people did here at the Ville. Yes Simple is pissed and you do not want to get on Simples wrong side, he may never hoist another cool beverage with you. Now I know none of you want that. Hey I ain't givin none of you any accolade, McCool don't even remember his car.. Danny Crocco had that two tone Plymouth. I remember me and him drinking beer in it right across the street from his house, and it was winter time and I guess us talking and breathing and freezing. The windows got all iced up on the inside. Man I have had some drinking experiences, well in retrospect, man I have had a lot of different experiences along this trail they call life..Today being a Vodkaday, a little more Burgerville. How about a roll call for the guys that are still with us, even Monk.. as Jimmy McFinn thought the Monk Man was long gone..Here are some of mine.
MONK!!! still here Finn
Plain and Simple, Terry and Ernie I think they are still here.
Dave Morris and Floyd Flaherty how about that pair PHEW!!

I'm tired I played golf all morning and you think you got it bad. I was telling Monk i don't wanna play with babe anymore, and Monk says why? I told him he cheats and Monk says how do you know? I said well Monday he hit a ball and looked for it for like 5 minutes then said he found it like 2 foot off the green! Monk said well thats possible he hits the ball a long way. I said no it isn't Possible I had it in my Pocket. But I told him it's better than Playing with Jimbo, once I had a tough shot over a bunker and uphill, I yelled to Jimbo get me a sand wedge will you? Jimbo walks to his bag comes back and hands me a peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich, and said how do you know I had them? Shrugs and walks away.
Larry Kelly was Mike Kelly .........I knew Plain would know............
Another time Jimbo ,Jake Beck,Johnny Turrella and myself was playing and trust me we all stunk. On the 18 hole I had a 40 foot putt that was down hill and going to roll way right, we were playing 5 dollars a man and john yells you have to make this putt to win!I said I got a 10 dollar Bill that says I'll make this putt, all three of themput up the ten and john says put your money up I have theirs. I dropped my club walked over to him and pulled out a 10 turned it over and right under the United States I showed him wher I wrote "I can make this Putt" He handed me the money and said it's well worth it I'll make a thousand Bucks.
Wow some names; a blast from the past; good stories; where have all the fun times gone? Nowhere, they are still here; after all it is VODKADAY. The Simpleton may be stopping here for a stayover later. I hope he didn't bring any of the critters with him or the NO VACANCY sign will be on. Last time he brought the spider with him, UGH!!! A little play on words; my secret word if frewel - short for a friend who is a jewel -and there are so many I could name. Was with a few this afternoon for my monthly St. J's class of 58 sorority lunch - Maureen Sweeney Marino of Terrace St., Franny Klauder Harrington of Hermit St., Dottie Hedberg Brozey of Terrace St., Dottie Carr Klepchik of Seville St., Franny Fagan Burbano of Cresson St., Anne Hockemeier Doyle of Kalos St., Mary Ann Concannon Rager of Ridge Ave. A few cocktails, a great lunch and so much to talk about. Good time with good people!!!!!
And we shouldn't forget to mention all the Lovely Ladies that hung there. And my girfriends that were sneaking out with Butch , Floyd and Ernie and the Damn General.#@#+?" throws up my hands and walks out!
