We're Off. What a day to come back..Yeah the Japanese had a well thought out plan, as they were conquering everything in the Pacific. In reality only one thing stood in their way, yep, The U. S. Fleet at Pearl Harbor..Let's just listen in for a moment to the Japanese war room, they only spoke in whispers..OK, they are Christians, we will attack early on a Sunday morning that way a lot of them will be in church..OK, our representatives are in Washington talking peace treaties, so they will never expect this..OK we will use our main air force and our superior warships to bomb and cripple their entire Pacific Fleet. OK, kill as many Servicemen, and Civilians as we can, as just like China, and Burma before them, they will never be able to recover from this devastation...One Admiral stood up and asked, when would this attack take place. He was told it was underway..His name was Admiral Yamamoto, and his words to the Vice Admirals and Royalty of the Japanese Hierarchy that had planned this devious slaughter, went like this: "I am afraid we have woken a sleeping giant." How true, How true, Midway, and Guadalcanal, and Iwo. How true The Phillipines and Wake. How true Okinawa, and Guam, and lest you ever forget how true, Hiroshima, and Nagasaki. You sure did wake a sleeping giant and he made you pay for your treachery. A moment of silence for all the brave Americans Servicemen and Civilians who lost their lives and their loved ones that day..A Day Of Infamy for sure...

Hey thanks for the prayer Jimmy Mc, I guess St. Anthony answered again, I am back. I use that prayer all the time..It works man, although in this case I am not so sure you really wanted it to work..Got a lot of things on my mind, just gotta sort them out and lay on out there. As we all see you guys don't really need my Simple ass around here to make things work..You did a great job without me..

Help me out guys. In all the movies about the attack on Pearl Harbor it happens early on a Sunday morning. Am I correct that Hawaii is 5 hours behind us? So if the bombing started at 7:00AM in Pearl Harbor was it noon time here? In the movies it is always the same time in Hawaii and here. I know all of you wise men will have the answer for me.

Of course, I am the Simple Wise Man. The Plain Wise Man is off doing a tap dance in the rain, as Jimmy Buffet once sang: dancing, dancing, dancing in the rain. The other Wise Man McFinn has no recollection of time as in days, months, years, minutes, none..So whatever he says will probably be right.. Simple signing off for the day.. Good day rain or not, actually missed my friends here at Plain and Simple.. You guys do make me laugh and as I said when we started that is a good thing..A hell of a lot better than the alternative...Someone Please Blow TAPS on this Day Of Infamy.I Hope and pray that future generations no longer have to see or hear of these kinds of days. The Attack on Pearl started 7:55 am Hawaii Time which is 5 Hours behind East coast Time Strebor give or take a minuet or two.Andddd it is a lil Known fact that in Japan is was 3:18 am December 8th so How the hell did they attack us the Day after we got Attacked ?No wonder there fourtune cookies are always right they do things the Day after, shakes my head and walks away.
