It is the 5th Day of July in The Year Of Our Lord 2011
Top of the Marnin to ye Lads & Lassies hope ye all had a good forth and didn't drink more than a 5th.I still dont know where Simple is the last report I got was he was seen with some mexican General Francisco Cherryeldorado!But to Strebor and Fin McCoolAs you all know the town of manayunk was named in1824 before that it was called Flatrock, it was changed by town conusel to a Lenape Indian nameManayunk which means (Place to drink )and in 1983 manayunk was Named A National Historic District nods yep it was. And this Lyceum Street you speak of nods I Know I know it's a lil known fact that Lyceum St. Is a 17% scale Grade down Hill and the word Lyceum has two senses ! 1.school for students intermediate between the grades 9 and 12.#2 meaning Public hall for lectures and concerts. And the back part of Polonia hall runs right into The African American Umbria Baptist Church right there where Tower Street Hits levering which turns into Lyceum and since polonia Had some of the greatest weddings, 5 dollar nights, banquets,fights known to man they said lets name this wide ass wall !!!!! lyceum Street. Thanks for the history lesson Plain. Yes, Manayunk came from the Lenni Lenape indians word "maniung", which means "place where we go to drink". Ironic isn't it? The widest part of Lyceum Ave. (and thank you again for the two meanings of the word Lyceum, I was very impressed) is between Manayunk or Maniung Ave. and Ridge Ave. It is much wider there than where the famous or infamous Manayunk Wall is located. The wall is the rocks we climbed as younguns' and we referred to the hill as "Nana Cherry's hill", because that's where we had to walk up to get to my grandmom's house. Little known fact but when Simple & I moved from Baker St. to Fleming St., it was stated that we no longer had to go up the hill as we now lived up the hill. A known fact about Lyceum is that it becomes Lyceum above Silverwood; below Silverwood to Main it is Levering. I always wondered why the whole street wasn't either Levering or Lyceum; why is it dissected at Silverwood. I will be awaiting your words of wisdom on this.

Because you will get your justice sooner or later. I said last week that I had that bad feeling. Well now I have another feeling. I believe in Karma, when you perpetrate sheer evil upon another human being, for no reason whatsoever, just for your own hedonistic or selfish ways, such as in this case. When you deem yourself judge jury and chief executioner, with malice towards another human being. Beware, Karma, as I call it, God as other sheople call it, whatever you want to say, what goes around comes around, stand by, you are going to get what is coming too you, and this I believe in just cases of malice and hatred. This goes beyond even that, this is the face of sheer evil walking out into the Orlando sunlight later today. She will get all the booze, drugs, and dick she wants tonight. The land called manayunk was originally a Community in Roxbourough Township Philadelphia County.This land was first brought by William Penn. And wait til ya hear this back in 1685-86 it was transfered over to William Fleming. Then Bill a lil later on sold a large part of this land to his Son Jacob Fleming. It was then Jacob Fleming built the first house in Flat Rock( Now Manayunk) and this house was built before the Streets were named can ya belive that, holy shit how did the contractors know where to go?Anywho this house is said to of been built on the North Side of Green Lane just west of Silverwood Street.But before I get on a roll with this plethra of knowledge Fleming Street was named after Joe Fleming the center fielder for Jamestown A.A. who hung on the corner of Jamestown and Apple Streets right in front of Tony Boobers yep yep I know unreal!!!!!

This Ville we are trying to build, is a work in progress. It runs the gamut of emotions. I must admit, most of it hilarious. There are just some things some times, that even get this Simpleton down. This day has been one of them. I am ending this day of infamy, with a fresh outlook for tomorrow. I will fill you in on Holiday Weekends at the Ville, and what we can look forward to, from Holidays in the future. Hey, Plain great job on the Yunk History, but if I ain't mistaken I think it was the Schuylkill Indians, now once again they could be a branch of the Lenni Lenape. Who by the way were the original settlers out here at the Ville. In fact the first Indian Reservation in America is right here in Shamong (place where the deer are.) It was called Brotherton. R.I.P. Ern I am not supprized at all that 12 people could find this Slut bag not guilty. There were 69 million people that elected this scum bag in the out house president 40 million of them had no Idea what he was about the sheep. 10 million wanted hope and change and 19 Million are only going to vote Black anyway because 98 % of the blacks vote black but we are the raciest if we say anything bad about our President.
